The most important game in the last round took place in Samara between third ranked UNICS-2 (2-2) and sixth ranked Samara-2 (3-1) on Tuesday night. UNICS-2 was crushed by Samara-2 on the road 76-53. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of UNICS-2. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Guard Vladimir Naumov (195-2004) produced 10 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Egor Shaposhnikov (195-2005) added 11 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Samara-2 keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Khimki-2 and CSKA-Junior. UNICS-2 at the other side dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Samara-2 is looking forward to face Enisey-2 (#12) in Krasnoyarsk in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
