Vevey Riviera (1-1) recorded a loss on the court of Neuchatel on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Neuchatel 79-68. The best player for the winners was Grenadian center Arkim Robertson (208-1994, college: CS Fullerton) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds. American forward Darious Moten (202-1992, college: Mercer) chipped in 27 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Jonathan Dubas (204-1991) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and Nigerian point guard Ikenna Ndugba (183-1998, college: Elon) added 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Neuchatel is looking forward to face Pully (#4) in Lausanne in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vevey Riviera will play at home against Monthey-Chablais and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
