Regular Season Round 2: Kupol-Rodniki - Dinamo V. 73-90

There was a surprise result in Izhevsk where Dinamo V. defeated Kupol-Rodniki 90-73 on Sunday. They outrebounded Kupol-Rodniki 41-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Point guard Yegor Bestuzhev (180-1999) scored 18 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Alexandr Lavnikov (205-1991) chipped in 16 points during the contest. Power forward Kirill Arkhipov (201-1996) responded with 13 points and forward Yegor Sorokin (197-2002) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dinamo V. will meet MBA-2 in the next round where they are favorite. Kupol-Rodniki will play against Irkut and hope to win that game.
