The game in Krasnoyarsk supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked UMMC (4-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Enisey (3-3). UMMC smashed Enisey 87-66 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Enisey. UMMC forced 23 Enisey turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international point guard Viktoriya Zavyalova (170-1998) notched 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and forward Anastasiia Kosu (185-2005, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five UMMC players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds by the former international power forward Tatiana Vidmer (191-1986) did not help to save the game for Enisey. Power forward Ekaterina Gunchenko (186-1998, agency: LBM Management) added 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Nadezhda. Enisey at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. UMMC will meet at home Sparta&K MR (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Enisey will play against Samara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
