Regular Season Round 11: Villars - Swiss Central 80-84

An interesting game forSwiss Central (8-3) which played road game in Villars against their close opponent Villars (9-3). Third ranked Swiss Central managed to get a 4-point victory 84-80 . Swiss Central made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American guard Jermale Jones (185-1986, college: Tuskegee) who led his team to a victory scoring 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Center Haris Jusovic (204-2002) helped adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Swiss Central players scored in double figures. Swiss Central's coach Luka Stiplosek allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Senegalese center Mansour Kasse (208-1992) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Jeffrey Schwab (182-1992) scored 24 points and 5 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Swiss Central have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain third place with 8-3 record behind leader Grand-Saconnex. Villars at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost.
