AEL led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ENAD to just 4 points in fourth quarter and to 10 points in second half. AEL held ENAD to an opponent 19.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.8 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded ENAD 65-23 including a 25-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. AEL players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by ENAD 's players. American swingman Sara Dickey (177-1995, college: Evansville) notched 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and guard Georgia Michael (172-2006) supported her with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. AEL's coach Giorgos Palalas felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds by naturalized British Chrystalla Merkouri (182-1975) did not help to save the game for ENAD . Irine Tsolia added 4 points and 4 steals for lost side. AEL have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Anagennises. ENAD lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with seven games lost.
