Regular Season Round 15: Kormend - Atomeromu 92-100

There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedAtomeromu (6-9) defeated on the road higher ranked Kormend (7-8) 100-92 on Saturday. Atomeromu made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Slovakian point guard Mario Ihring (193-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points. American forward Kassim Nicholson (200-1999, college: Tennessee St.) helped adding 24 points and 6 rebounds. Atomeromu's coach Sebastjan Krasovec used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Malik Morgan (194-1994, college: Tulane) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 assists and Canadian guard Nikola Djogo (202-1997, college: Northeastern) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Five Atomeromu and four Kormend players scored in double figures. Atomeromu moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Kaposvari and NKA Pecs. Loser Kormend dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Szedeak.
