There was no surprise in Syktyvkar where 11th rankedDynamo (1-17) was defeated by seventh ranked Nika (9-8) 81-77 on Thursday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Nika looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Bria Holmes (185-1994, college: WVU) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and Polina Fedorova (189-1995) who added 17 points during the contest. Guard Anna Borodina (179-2002) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and forward Elena Mikhailova (183-2000) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Nika moved-up to fifth place. Dynamo lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 17 lost games.
