Very significant wasMoufflons ' (#3, 5-8) victory against one of their biggest challengers APOP (4-9) 61-55 . The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 20-15 APOP's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 61-55 at the end of the game. Moufflons dominated on the defensive end, holding APOP to just 5 points in second quarter. The winners were led by American forward Kylie Meadows (180, college: Bluefield) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Marina Kinani (175-2001) supported her with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 29 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists by Panagiota Themistokleous (185-2000) did not help to save the game for APOP . Point guard Maritsa Efstathiou (168-1998) added 11 points for lost side. Newly promoted Moufflons maintains third position with 5-8 record having six points less than leader AEL. APOP at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost.
