Regular Season Round 24: MBA - Nika 72-77

The most important game in the last round took place in Moscow between third rankedMBA (16-5) and fifth ranked Nika MBA was defeated by Nika in a tough game at home 72-77 . Nika outrebounded MBA 40-27 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nika looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for the former international power forward Raisa Musina (191-1998) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Slovenian center Eva Lisec (193-1995, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Nika players scored in double figures. Power forward Valentina Kozhukhar (188-1999) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Mariya Krymova (170-2001) added 16 points and 5 assists in the effort for MBA. MBA's coach Aleksandr Diratsuyan rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Nika maintains fifth position with 12-9 record. MBA at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost.
