OPAP Basket League round 20 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leaderKeravnos (15-3) against third ranked Anorthosis (15-3) 70-61 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Keravnos. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-61. Anorthosis forced 20 Keravnos turnovers. American players dominated the game. Center Jimmie Taylor (208-1995, college: Alabama) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Lee Skinner (198-1992, college: Wofford) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Center Travis Taylor (203-1990, college: Xavier, agency: Slash Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Jay Jay Chandler III (193-1998, college: USA) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Keravnos. Anorthosis have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with AEK Larnaca and Keravnos.
