Regular Season Round 22: Swiss Central - Levaux 83-70

Date: March 9, 2024
No shocking result in a game in Luzern where sixth ranked Swiss Central (14-9) defeated bottom-ranked Levaux (5-19) 83-70. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Belgian center Stan Leemans (203-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. American guard Jermale Jones (185-1986, college: Tuskegee) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Tanguy Falk (190-2000) replied with 24 points and 9 rebounds and guard Alexandre Ghorayeb (172-2001) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Levaux. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swiss Central maintains sixth position with 14-9 record. Levaux lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 19 games lost. Swiss Central will play against CNBS (#9) in Lausanne in the next round. Levaux will have a break next round.
