Regular Season Round 30: Dynamo K. - Nika 78-70

PBL top team -Dynamo (23-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Nika (15-11) in Kursk 78-70 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nika. Strangely Nika outrebounded Dynamo 40-27 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nika was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Kayla Thornton (185-1992, college: UTEP) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Anna Burovaya (172-1997) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Five Dynamo K. players scored in double figures. Dynamo K.'s coach Igor Grachev allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Bria Holmes (185-1994, college: WVU) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Anastasia Logunova (193-1990, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Dynamo maintains first position with 23-4 record, which they share with UMMC. Nika at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost.
