Fourteenth-rankedPVSK-Veolia (0-5) used its home court advantage to challenge leader NKA Pecs (5-0). The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 94-91 . However their fans expected much easier game. Bosnian guard Nemanja Nikolic (197-1998) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Montenegrin center Vasilije Bacovic (208-1996, agency: BIG) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Serbian guard Ognjen Micovic (187-2000) responded with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Amorie Archibald (192-1999, college: La Tech, agency: Worldwide SM) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. PVSK-Veolia's coach Srecko Sekulovic tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for NKA Pecs . They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Szolnok and Szombathely. PVSK-Veolia lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Honved.
