ENAD recorded a loss in Nicosia. Hosts were defeated by APOP 68-57 . ENAD was ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 39-21 second half run of APOP . They dominated on the defensive end, holding ENAD to just 6 points in third quarter. APOP forced 20 ENAD turnovers and outrebounded them 45-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. APOP players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. ENAD was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Mariah Miller (182-1998, college: CSU) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Panagiota Themistokleous (185-2000) supported her with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 14 points and 6 assists by point guard Aggeliki Konomi (168-2000) did not help to save the game for ENAD . Naturalized British Chrystalla Merkouri (182-1975) added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. ENAD's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
