Cypriot Division A round 4 best performance: Cassidy Mihalko (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-G-1995) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Anagennises Yermasogias, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, four rebounds and five assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass Apoel (#5, 1-3) with 47-point margin 98-51. Anagennises maintains the 2nd position in Cypriot Division A. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Anagennises will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Mihalko had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. She turned to be Anagennises' top player in her first season with the team.

The second best player in last round's games was young international Demetra Papalla (185-C/F-2003) of league's leader Asbis AEL Limassol. Papalla had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds. Of course she led AEL to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Achilleas (#4, 1-2) 81-48. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. AEL consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Papalla is well-known at AEL and is a proven leader in her second season with the team. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 11.5ppg (#9). She also registered 10.8 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another AEL's star - international forward Panagiota Themistokleous (185-PF-2000). Themistokleous scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Asbis AEL Limassol, helping her team with a 81-48 easy win against #4 ranked Achilleas. AEL started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Themistokleous turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Themistokleous has a very solid season. In 4 games in Cyprus she scored 8.3ppg.
