Jeffrey Crockett claims Cypriot ECOMMBX BL weekly honour

Experienced American Jeffrey Crockett (201-F-1991) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Keravnos Strovolou and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 35-year old forward had the game-high 24 points adding eight rebounds for Keravnos in his team's victory, helping them to beat Anorthosis (#10, 0-4), the league's bottom-ranked team 94-84. Keravnos maintains the 2nd position in Cypriot ECOMMBX BL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Keravnos already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Crockett had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Keravnos, through which he has constantly improved. Texas Tech University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Crockett is in league's top in points (6th best: 17.0ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.3rpg) and averages solid 79.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard George Beale (193-G-2002) of Enosis Neon Paralimni. Beale impressed basketball fans with 31 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Paralimni to another comfortable win 96-82 over Achilleas K. (#9, 0-4) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Paralimni to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Beale is a newcomer at Paralimni and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.3ppg (#1).

The third best performed player last round was American Matthew Norman (193-G-2000) of Anorthosis Famagusta (#10). Norman got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Norman's great performance the Anorthosis lost 84-94 to the league's current leader Keravnos (#2, 4-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Anorthosis can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 4 games. Norman has individually a great season in Cyprus. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.3ppg (5th best).
