BK Olomoucko (NBL) added to their roster 25-year old South Sudanese-American ex-international guard Akuel Kot (188cm-75kg-2001, college: Wyoming). He was second best scorer at Svendborg Rabbits in Danish BasketLigaen last season where in 31 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.5ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Part of previous (2024-25) season he spent at Fox Basketball Club (D1) in South Sudanese league. Kot also played for Rigas Zelli (RNBL) in Latvian league. He was a member of South Sudanese Senior National Team two years ago.
Among many awards he played in the final of Latvian-Estonian Basketball League in 2025. Kot was also RMAC All-Tournament Team back in 2023.
He graduated from University of Wyoming in 2024 and it will be his third season as a professional player. Kot played also for Fort Lewis College for 4 years.
