Dynamo Kursk celebrated the historic first ever EuroLeague title. They stormed past Fenerbahce to claim the trophy wrapping up a perfect 18-0 season. Angel McCoughtry (187-SF-86, college: Louisville) scored 20 points to lead the Russian team. Fenerbahce snatched an 18:17 lead ten minutes into the game. Dynamo Kursk unloaded 27 points in the second frame to spur ahead. The Kursk side established a 44:34 halftime lead. Fenerbahce narrowed the deficit in the third quarter. The Turkish powerhouse got within 7 points heading into the fourth period. But Dynamo limited their opponents to just 8 points in the fourth frame and raced to the historic trophy. UMMC earned the SuperCup title. The Euroleague defending champions overcame the EuroCup runners-up in the exciting clash in France tonight.
