They overcame their cross-town rivals Fenerbahce in all-Turkish Final in Ekaterinburg today. Sancho Lyttle (192-C-83, college: Houston) stepped up with 19 points and 12 rebounds to pace the winners. Galatasaray set the tone in the first period. They went on a commanding 26:7 run to clear off. Fenerbahce started recovering from a knockdown in the second quarter. They pulled within 13 points at halftime 29:42. Fenerbahce dominated on the defensive end in the third term. They cut the deficit at 9-point mark heading into the fourth period. Fenerbahce opened the final frame on a 9:2 run to pull within two points 53:55. But Kimyacioglu drained a timely three-pointer to stop the rot for Galatasaray. Sancho Lyttle added a jumper as they regained a 7-point lead.
