CS Universitatea Cluj Napoca (Liga Nationala) strengthened their roster with addition of Canadian 180cm forward Hailey Macleod for upcoming season. She was the top scorer at Hibernians in Maltese Women League last season where in 17 games she recorded very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.2apg and 1.7spg. She helped them to win the cup and make to league semifinals. Great season indeed as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Maltese League All-Imports Team and Eurobasket.com All-Maltese League Second Team.
For six previous seasons (2019-25) she played at Capers in Canada.
Macleod was selected All-AUS Rookie of the Year back in 2020.
