Gernika signs Taylor Mikesell

Taylor Mikesell

Lointek Gernika Bizkaia (LF Endesa) signed 24-year-old USA guard Taylor Mikesell (180cm-1999, college: Ohio State). She played most recently at Atlanta Dream (WNBA). In 6 games, she had just 2.8ppg in 2023.
Last year, she was drafted by the Indiana Fever (WNBA) in the second round (13th overall).
She graduated from Ohio State and it's her second season in pro basketball.
Mikesell was also a member of the USA international program for some years. She played for USA Senior National Team back in 2019 and previously for the Under 17 National Team in 2016.
Mikesell represented the USA at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) five years ago. Her team won Silver and she averaged over 6 ppg. She played for other colleges such as the University of Oregon, University of Maryland, and High School.
