Deeshyra Thomas re-signs with ALBA Berlin

ALBA Berlin (DBBL) re-signed 29-year-old American 170cm point guard Deeshyra Thomas (170-PG-1995, college: Weber St.) for the new season. She is the second import player in the roster, with Ukrainian Taisiia Vypovska signing earlier. Thomas has played there for the last two seasons.She is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. She is familiar with European, African, and of course North American leagues. Thomas has played previously professionally in Morocco (KACM Kawkab de Marrakech), Germany (Halle, Schwabach, and Rheinland), Morocco, and Mediterranean Cup (Atlanta Ambassadors). She won the German DBBL championship title in 2024.Among many awards, she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Honorable Mention during 2020.Thomas graduated from Weber State in 2017 and it will be her eighth season in pro basketball.Let's take a closer look at her perspective.Deeshyra is a very quick, versatile player.
