American Kathryn Westbeld (190-F-1996) had an amazing evening in the last round for Tarr KSC Szekszard and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 28-year old forward had a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat Estudiantes (#2, 4-2) 106-98. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Szekszard maintains the 3rd position in EuroCup . Szekszard is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. In the team's last game Westbeld had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's her second year at Szekszard and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Kathryn Westbeld averages this season 17.5ppg and 8.2rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Australian swingman Alexandra Sharp (182-F/G-1997) of second-ranked Movistar Estudiantes Madrid. Sharp impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Estudiantes lost that game 98-106 to slightly lower-ranked Szekszard (#3, 3-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Estudiantes still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team's 4-2 record is not bad at all. Sharp is a newcomer at Estudiantes and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Dominique Malonga (198-C-2005) of top-ranked Lyon ASVEL Feminin. Malonga got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. She went also for nine rebounds and four assists. She was a key player of Lyon, leading her team to a 100-79 easy win against #2 ranked Gorzow Wlkp.. Lyon started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Malonga turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Malonga has a great season in EuroCup. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 11.3rpg (7th best).
