Dora Ruff-Nagy signs at Szekszard

Tarr KSC Szekszard (A Division) signed 31-year-old ex-international 164cm point guard Dora Ruff-Nagy for the upcoming season. She has played for the last five years at UNI Gyor. In 9 A Division games in Hungary, she averaged 9.6ppg, 4.8rpg, 4.1apg, and 1.4spg last season.
Ruff-Nagy was a member of the Hungarian international program for several years. She played for the Hungarian Senior National Team between 2015 and 2023 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2015.
She has played previously for five other teams: ZTE Noi Kosarlabda Klub, Miskolc, Cegledi, PEAC-Pecs, and Autopark Pecsi VSK.
Among many awards, she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention back in 2020.
Her game is described as a fierce competition between players during which they must use their skills to outsmart their opponents.
A young Hungarian national team player, Dora excels in both guard positions, comfortable as a 1 or a 2. Ruff-Nagy is an excellent three-point shooter, creative, and utilizes her passing skills effectively. She has a bright future ahead of her, is a very nice person on and off the court, making her very coachable.
