Hungarian B Red round 4 best performance: Szilard Balogh (by Hoops Agents)

Guard Szilard Balogh (185-G-2001) had a great game in the last round for Pecsi VSK-Veolia, receiving a Hoops Agents B Red Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, four rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Veszprem (#11, 1-3) 92-91. PVSK-Veolia is placed at 4th position in Hungarian B Red. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. PVSK-Veolia will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Balogh had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. It's his second year at PVSK-Veolia and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Szilard Balogh has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.8ppg), rebounds (9th best: 7.3rpg), assists (5th best: 5.3apg) and averages impressive 58.6% FGP and 61.5% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Gabor Bordacs (201-F/G-1998) of Ujbuda MAFC. Bordacs had a very good evening with a double-double of 12 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led MAFC to another comfortable win outscoring Hubner NBS (#12, 0-3) 109-79. This victory allowed MAFC to move up to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bordacs is one of the most experienced players at MAFC and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Marcell Inalegwu (180-G-2005) of Tehetseges Fiatalok Budapest (#13). Inalegwu scored 25 points. Despite Inalegwu's great performance the TF Budapest lost 62-89 to the higher-ranked Vasas (#9, 1-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Inalegwu has a very solid season. In 4 games in Hungary he scored 15.8ppg.
