The standout Ukrainian point guard Issuf Sanon was honored as the Player of the Year of the championship-winning VEF Riga from Latvia. He received multiple other awards, earned the European Player of the Year, Guard of the Year, and was voted to the First Team, Honorable Mention and Defensive Team. With Sanon's excellent performance, the VEF Riga achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 25 to 3 in the regular season. Sanon's excellent performance assisted his team in beating Rigas Zelli 88 to 82 in the final. He was previously selected to the Second Team back in 2023.
