Kalev/Cramo are EstLatBL 20/21 champions. They overcame VEF Riga in the title clash in Riga tonight. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Kalev/Cramo outrebounded VEF Riga 39-26 including 33 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American Maurice Kemp (203-91, college: ECU) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Janari Joesaar (198-93, college: UTRGV) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Kyle Allman (192-97, college: CS Fullerton) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Latvian Kristers Zoriks (193-98, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 13 points in the effort for VEF Riga. Five Kalev/Cramo and four VEF Riga players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

BK Ogre stepped onto EstLatBL pedestal. They nipped Rapla to claim Bronze medals. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-13. But Rapla won second period 26-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when BK Ogre won last quarter 22-21. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Latvian point guard Rinalds Sirsnins (186-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and Latvian Rihards Kuksiks (201-88, college: Arizona St.) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. BK Ogre's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side American point guard Brandon Childress (183-97, college: Wake Forest) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Latvian Roberts Freimanis (203-91, college: Liepaja) scored 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
