Henry's 29 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old American Jalen Henry (203-C/F-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Tartu Ulikool Maks & Moorits and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had the game-high 29 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Tartu in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Viimsi (#13, 3-12) 81-77. Tartu is placed at 4th position in LAT-EST BL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Tartu will need more victories to improve their 10-4 record. In the team's last game Henry had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tartu's top player in his first season with the team. Jalen Henry averages this season 15.6ppg and 6.9rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Daniils Smirnovs (204-PF-2003) of Latvijas Universitate. He is Estonian forward in his first season at LU. In the last game Smirnovs recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as LU lost that game 51-97 to the higher-ranked TalTech (#10, 7-10). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. LU is still at the dead bottom 15th position. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory LU managed to get this year. Smirnovs is a newcomer at LU and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Artem Kovalov (208-F/C-1997) of Keila Coolbet (#7). Kovalov scored 28 points and grabbed 21 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Keila C., leading his team to a 87-72 easy win against the lower-ranked Parnu (#12, 4-10). Keila C. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 6 lost games. Kovalov has a great season in LAT-EST BL. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.1ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 11.6rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.1bpg and a FGP of 50.3%.
