American Jalyn McCreary (203-F-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for AVIS UTILITAS Rapla and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 26.
The 24-year old forward had the game-high 26 points adding six rebounds for Rapla in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Parnu (11-12) with 37-point margin 113-76. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Rapla is placed at 9th position in LAT-EST BL. Rapla is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-12 record. McCreary turned to be Rapla's top player in his first season with the team. Mercer University graduate has very impressive stats this year. McCreary is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.2ppg) and averages solid 65.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young center Peteris Pinnis (214-C-2004, agency: Octagon Europe) of league's best team VEF Riga. Pinnis impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led VEF Riga to another comfortable win 78-59 over the lower-ranked LU (#15, 2-21) being unquestionably team leader. Of course VEF Riga still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 19-2 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Pinnis is one of the most experienced players at VEF Riga and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Rapla's star - Latvian Emils Krumins (185-PG-2001). Krumins scored 19 points and passed 8 assists. He was another key player of AVIS UTILITAS Rapla, helping his team with a 113-76 easy win against Parnu (11-12). The chances of Rapla ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Krumins could help Rapla to bring them higher in the standings. Krumins has a very solid season. In 21 games in LAT-EST BL he scored 8.1ppg.
