FINALVKM - Zalgiris 74-88The game was mostly controlled by Zalgiris. VKM was better in second period 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. VKM was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Mantas Kocanas (207-2005) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winning side and Jokubas Rudaitis (-2006) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Titas Pundinas (175-2005) came up with 24 points and 6 assists and swingman Arturas Vilutis (193-2005) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for VKM in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. But VKKM won second period 25-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SKM I dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to VKKM's 32. Forward Ernestas Matulevic (200-2005) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Kristupas Civilis (-2005) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five SKM I players scored in double figures. SKM I's coach Ignas Pagalys used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Kristupas Lesciauskas (190-2005) responded with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Justas Ziubrys (183-2005) scored 22 points and 4 assists.
