Zalgiris - Tornado KM 75-83

Zalgiris was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 33-17 charge of Tornado KM, which allowed them to win the game. They made 29-of-38 free shots (76.3 percent) during the game. 29 personal fouls committed by Zalgiris helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of center Arminas Vilkas (200-2007) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Armandas Bancevicius (203-2006) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) for the winners. Four Tornado KM players scored in double figures. Forward Mantas Juzenas (199-2006) answered with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and guard Jokubas Rudaitis (198-2006) added 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Zalgiris.

VKKM - VKM 90-99

It looked good early as VKKM took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then VKM had a 27-17 second period charge getting the lead and VKKM was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 90-99. VKM players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. VKKM was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Titas Lavrinovic (208-2006) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds (on 16-of-20 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Mantas Liutkevicius (185-2007) chipped in 25 points, 6 rebounds and 16 assists. Four VKM players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Matas Staugaitis (200-2006) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds and forward Paulius Narvilas (200-2006) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
