Best players of Lithuanian LKL round 7

Experienced American Dustin Sleva (203-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 31-year old forward had the game-high 24 points adding nine rebounds for Zalgiris in his team's victory, helping them to beat Rytas (#3, 4-2) 94-89. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Zalgiris to consolidate first place in the Lithuanian LKL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Zalgiris still have not lost a single game, getting all 8 victories. In the team's last game Sleva had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It's his second year at Zalgiris and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Dustin Sleva averages this season 9.0ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Nick Johnson (193-G-2001) of BC Jonava Hipocredit. Johnson impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course Jonava cruised to a 94-82 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Juventus (#7, 3-5). This victory allowed Jonava to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Johnson is a newcomer at Jonava and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.1ppg (#1).

The third best performed player last round was another Jonava's star - American Clevon Brown Jr (203-F-1998). Brown Jr scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was another key player of BC Jonava Hipocredit, helping his team with a 94-82 win against slightly lower-ranked Juventus (#7, 3-5). The chances of Jonava ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Brown Jr could help Jonava to bring them higher in the standings. Brown Jr has a very solid season. In 7 games in Lithuania he scored 10.1ppg. He also has 4.6rpg, 1.6bpg and a FGP of 78.6%.
