All competitions for this season were canceled on May 14, 2020. The Board of Directors of the Basketball Association of Montenegro at the electronic session held on 14.05.2020 made the following decisions: 1. Competitions in all categories in the season 2019/2020 are canceled (results are deleted) 2. The rights for international competitions are exercised by clubs on the basis of placements from the 2018/2019 season (FIBA competitions and ABA2 league) 3. The Basketball Association of Montenegro leaves the possibility of expanding the I A MCKL (ERSTE League), depending on the interest of clubs and financial capabilities, to 12 clubs. The criteria for filling the league will be adopted by the federation 60 days before the start of the competition in the I A MCKL (ERSTE league). Courtesy of: kscg.me
Buducnost defend Cup title - Feb 14, 2020

Buducnost regained the Montenegrin Cup title. They overcame Mornar for the 19/20 trophy. Justin Cobbs (191-G-91, college: California, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 21 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds to pace the winners. Buducnost set the tone early on. They went on a 24:14 run in the first period to grab a comfortable lead. Mornar narrowed the gap in the second term. They managed to pull within 9 points at the big break 32:41. Mornar continued to mount the pressure on their opponents. The hosts unloaded 30 points in the third frame to get as close as 3 points heading into the fourth term. But Buducnost lived up to the challenge. They knocked down 27 points in the fourth period and got away with the victory. Suad Sehovic (197-G/F-87) and Petar Popovic (195-PG-96, agency: BeoBasket) delivered 14 points each in the win. Jacob Pullen (184-PG-89, college: Kansas St.) answered with game-high 25 points for Mornar.
