2Liga Round 2 (Regular Season): #1 ENEA Basket is defeated by Flota Gdynia

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in 2Liga. The round was exceptionally exciting as three games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of ENEA Basket on the court of Flota Gdynia on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Flota Gdynia 110-108. Flota Gdynia looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Nikodem Czoska (203-2002) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Pawel Lasota (201-1996) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Guard Rafal Szpakowski (184-2005) responded with 21 points and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Flota Gdynia is looking forward to face Trefl 2 in Sopot in the next round which should be an easy win for them. ENEA Basket will play at home against Gniezno and is hoping to win this game.
Very significant was Inowroclaw's 74-64 road victory against Gniezno. Piotr Robak (194-1991) notched 19 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Darrell Harris supported him with 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 9 points and 17 rebounds by power forward Mikolaj Czyz (205-1998) did not help to save the game for Gniezno. Inowroclaw will play against Astoria in Bydgoszcz in the next round where they are favorite. Gniezno will play on the road against ENEA Basket in Poznan to get more than just one victory in their record.
Quite upsetting was Legia 2's 23-point home defeat in a game versus Zubry who crushed hosts The best player for the winners was Karol Obarek who scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Filip Maciejewski produced 29 points and 4 steals for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zubry will meet at home Tur Bielsk Pdl. in the next round.
