Imortal was defeated by GDESSA in a tough game in Barreiro 72-76. GDESSA made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Imortal turnovers. The former international guard Marcia Costa (173-1989) fired 37 points (!!!) for the winners. chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Esgueira. Worth to mention a great performance of Mozambican forward Chanaya Pinto (185-2000, college: Penn State) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 assists. Galitos will play against Coimbroes and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 13 Benfica crushed Sanjoanense in Lisbon 101-59. Bottom-ranked Coimbroes were beaten by Sportiva at home 64-80.

Polish forward Zuzanna Puc (188-1997, college: Utah) stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Ines Faustino chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Benfica players scored in double figures. At the losing side responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Schekinah Bimpa (180-1998, college: Limestone) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Benfica.
