McCarty-Williams number one in Russia PBL for round 4 (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Brooke McCarty-Williams (163-G-1995) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Dynamo Moscow, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, three rebounds and five assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Vladimir (#9, 1-4) 91-76. It allowed Dynamo to consolidate first place in the Russian PBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Dynamo already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game McCarty-Williams had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Dynamo and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Brooke McCarty-Williams averages this season 17.4ppg and 4.8apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Sofia Lyulina (181-F-2004) of Sparta&K Vidnoe Moscow Region. Lyulina had a very good evening with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Sparta&K to edge Dynamo NR (#11, 0-4) 77-72. This victory allowed Sparta&K to move up to 5th position in the standings. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Lyulina is one of the most experienced players at Sparta&K and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.4ppg (#8).

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Angel Baker (173-PG-2000) of Vladimirskiy Livitsy Vladimir (#9). Baker showcased her all-around game by recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. Despite Baker's great performance the Vladimir lost 76-91 to the league's current leader Dynamo M. (#1, 5-0). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Baker has individually a great season in Russia. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.6ppg (6th best).
