Kyara Linskens gets MVP of the Week award for Russian PBL (by Hoops Agents)

Belgian Kyara Linskens (193-C-1996, agency: LBM Management) had a very impressive game in the last round for Dynamo Kursk and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 30-year old center had the game-high 17 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Dynamo K. in her team's victory, helping them to crush Vladimir (#10, 1-5) with 22-point margin 84-62. Dynamo maintains the 3rd position in Russian PBL. They are still close to the very top. Dynamo would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. Linskens turned to be Dynamo's top player in her first season with the team. Linskens has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 15.8ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.0rpg) and averages solid 67.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international forward Daria Kolosovskaya (183-F-1996, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) of Nadezhda Orenburg. Kolosovskaya impressed basketball fans with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Nadezhda lost that game 60-66 to slightly lower-ranked Dynamo NR (#8, 1-4). Nadezhda managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Kolosovskaya is well-known by Nadezhda fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.4ppg (#7). She also registered 5.2 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international forward Daria Perova (184-F-2000) of Sparta&K Vidnoe Moscow Region (#5). Perova scored 17 points and passed 4 assists. She was a key player of Sparta&K, leading her team to a 77-56 easy win against Samara (#12, 0-5). Sparta&K needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Perova has a very solid season. In 4 games in Russia she scored 10.0ppg.
