This is still too early stage of the Regular Season in 2MLS and we should expect many changes in upcoming rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most surprising game was a loss of Pirot (2-1) in Belgrade on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Beko (2-1) 78-77. Strangely Pirot outrebounded Beko 30-18 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for center Stefan Djordjevic (206-1989) who saved his team from a defeat with 21 points and 7 assists. Aleksa Davidovic (-2004) contributed with 18 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) for the winners. Beko's coach Nenad Petronic used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Marko Popovic (203-2000) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds for Pirot. Beko is looking forward to face Jagodina (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Pirot will play against IBC (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
Konstantin (3-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed Dunav 2014 (1-2) in Nis 91-60. It was a great evening for Andrija Bojic (208-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Matija Svetozarevic helped adding 16 points. The best for the losing side was Vukota Velickovic (-2002) with 20 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Konstantin will play against Zdravlje (#3) in Leskovac in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dunav 2014 will play at home against Krusevac (#2) to get more than just one victory in their record.
A very close game took place in Sombor between Sombor and Loznica. Sombor (1-2) got a very close home victory over Loznica (0-3).
