Vasiljevic's double-double lands him 2MLS Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old forward Toma Vasiljevic (204-F-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for KK Vrsac Swisslion and receives a Hoops Agents 2MLS Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds, while his team outclassed Proleter (#12, 1-2) with 32-point margin 105-73. Vrsac maintains the 5th position in Serbian 2MLS. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Vrsac will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Vasiljevic had a remarkable 72.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Vrsac's top player in his first season with the team. Vasiljevic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 21.0ppg), rebounds (4th best: 10.7rpg) and averages solid 73.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Dusan Popovic (187-G-2000) of BC Sombor. He is a guard in his 2nd season at Sombor. In the last game Popovic recorded an impressive 28 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. It was enough for Sombor to edge Loznica (0-3) by 3 points 94-91. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Popovic is well-known at Sombor and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.3ppg (#2). He also recorded 3.7 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Stefan Jankovic (203-C-2004, agency: Octagon Europe) of league's second-best OKK Krusevac. Jankovic scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Krusevac, leading his team to a 89-84 win against Ivanjica (#14, 0-3). Krusevac started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Jankovic turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Jankovic has a great season in Serbia. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.3rpg (3rd best).
