Kahramanmaras sign Brandon Jefferson, ex Gran Canaria

- August 2, 2026

Eurobasket News

POSTED BY: Eurobasket News

Kahramanmaras Belediye (TBL) signed 34-year-old American point guard Brandon Jefferson (college: MSU Denver) for the upcoming season. He will be playing alongside fellow American player Ike Nweke. Jefferson, who was the leading scorer at Gran Canaria in the Spanish Liga Endesa, averaged 6.4ppg in 5 games last season. He also had a stint with ASK Karditsas B.C. Iaponiki in the Greek league.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he has experienced life in nine different countries playing on three different continents. Jefferson is familiar with European, Asian, and North American leagues. He has played professionally in China (Loongs and Pioneers), Finland (KTP-Basket), France (Pau Lacq Orthez, SIG Strasbourg, JL Bourg, and Entente Orleans 45), Germany (Phoenix Hagen), Greece, Italy (Sassari and Trapani), Slovenia (Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana), and The Basketball Tournament (Bleed Green and Team Diesel).
Among many awards, he was voted to the Eurobasket.com French League All-Imports Team in 2021.
Jefferson graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2014 and this will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.

Kahramanmaras Belediye roster for 2026-27:

Guards:
Brandon Jefferson
Ismet Avsar
Batin Tuna
Burak Gozeneli
Koray Cekici

Forwards:
Deniz Celen
Ike Nweke

Center:

Coach: Candost Volkan
