Jones number one in Turkey BSL for round 4

American Point guard Bryce Jones (183-PG-1994) had a great game in the last round for Tofas Bursa, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out Glint Korfez (2-2) 71-69. Tofas is placed at 7th position in Turkish BSL. Tofas is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Tofas' top player in his first season with the team. Former Murray State University star has very solid stats this year. Jones is in league's top in assists (6th best: 4.8apg). Worth to mention Jones played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jordon Crawford (168-PG-1990, agency: Slash Sports) of Cayirova Belediye Kocaeli. Crawford had a very good evening with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Cayirova lost that game 79-95 to the higher-ranked Karsiyaka (#9, 2-2). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Cayirova is still at the dead bottom 16th position. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Crawford is a newcomer at Cayirova, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#4). He also recorded 7.3 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Ivorian forward Kevin Yebo (207-F/C-1996) of league's second-best Esenler Erokspor Istanbul. Yebo scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Erokspor, leading his team to a 73-70 win against the lower-ranked Anadolu Efes (3-1). Erokspor needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Yebo has a very solid season. In 4 games in Turkey he scored 15.8ppg.
