Trevion Williams gets MVP of the Week award for Turkish BSL (by Hoops Agents)

American Trevion Williams (206-C-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 26-year old center had a double-double of 20 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Cayirova (#16, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 84-76. Bahcesehir is placed at 2nd position in Turkish BSL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Bahcesehir won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Williams had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Bahcesehir and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Purdue University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams leads league in rebounds with 14.5rpg. Williams is in league's top in and averages solid 88.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American point guard Jordon Crawford (168-PG-1990, agency: Slash Sports) of Cayirova Belediye Kocaeli. Crawford impressed basketball fans with 27 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Cayirova lost that game 76-84 to Bahcesehir (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Crawford is a newcomer at Cayirova and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#2). He also recorded 7.0 assists per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Johnny Juzang (201-F-2001) of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (#8). Juzang scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Fenerbahce, leading his team to a 85-84 win against Glint Korfez (1-1). Fenerbahce needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. The season just started for Juzang as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
