Gueye's 22 points and 8 rebounds give him TBL Player of the Week award

32-year old Senegalese center Abdoulaye Gueye (206-C-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Haremspor Istanbul and receives a Hoops Agents TBL Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 22 points adding eight rebounds for Haremspor in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Darussafaka (#14, 2-4) with 32-point margin 79-47. Haremspor is placed at 2nd position in Turkish TBL. They are still close to the very top. Haremspor would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Gueye had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Haremspor's top player in his first season with the team. Third place about best performers goes to guard Eray Akyuz (187-G-2000) of iLab Basketbol (#7). Akyuz showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of iLab, leading his team to a 93-91 win against the lower-ranked Ormanspor (#15, 1-4). iLab needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams.
