Cluff's 23 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old Australian center Oscar Cluff (211-C-2001) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Glint Korfez Basket Kocaeli and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 23 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Glint Korfez in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Petkim (#11, 1-2) 91-90. Glint Korfez is placed at 4th position in Turkish league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Glint Korfez will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Cluff had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Glint Korfez's top player in his first season with the team. Purdue University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cluff is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 7.0rpg) and averages solid 77.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Keandre Cook (194-SG-1997) of Aliaga Petkimspor Izmir. He is American guard in his first season at Petkim. In the last game Cook recorded an impressive 23 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Petkimspor was edged by Glint Korfez (2-1) 91-90. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Cook is a newcomer at Petkim and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Malachi Flynn (185-PG-1998) of league's second-best Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul. Flynn scored 26 points and passed 6 assists. He was a key player of Bahcesehir, leading his team to a 92-82 win against Karsiyaka (#9, 1-2). Bahcesehir started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Flynn turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Flynn has a great season in Turkey. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.0ppg (9th best) and assists with 5.3apg (6th best). Malachi Flynn has also Turkish passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
