Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul (BSL) signed 27-year-old American 196cm shooting guard Lonnie Walker IV, who played college basketball at Miami, FL. He was set to join the Denver Nuggets in the NBA but decided to play for Besiktas. Walker IV also had a stint with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli league.
In 2018, he was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in the first round (18th overall). Walker attended the University of Miami, and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Walker has played professionally in Israel, Lithuania (Zalgiris), NBA (LA Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, and Philadelphia 76ers), and NBA Summer League (Philadelphia 76ers).
Among many awards, his team won the Lithuanian Cup in 2025. He was voted to the ACC All-Freshman Team during his college time in 2018.
