Barking Abbey London Lions (WSLB) strengthened their roster with addition of 21-year old 180cm guard Kian Omer-Jones for season 2024-25. It is actually her comeback to Lions as she has played here before. Omer-Jones played most recently at Caledonia Gladiators in the WSLB. In 11 games she recorded 3.2ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.6spg last season. She also played 3 games in Eurocup, but she did not score anything and had only 2 assists.
Omer-Jones won Scottish SBC League championship title in 2024.
The previous (2022-23) season she played at Hatters where in 15 WSLB games she averaged 3.7ppg and 1.5rpg in that year.
She represented United Kingdom at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship Division B in Craiova (Romania) last year. Her stats at that event were 6 games: 6.2ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.5spg, FGP: 25.0%, 3PT: 37.5%, FT: 66.7%. She won Scottish SBC League championship title in 2024.
