Regular Season Round 3: Ilirija - Dubrava 80-74

Ilirija used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Zagreb 80-74 on Tuesday night. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 24-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for Croatian forward Luka Barisic (208-1998, college: W.Illinois) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Luka Kures (192-1998) accounted for 9 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winning side. Four Ilirija players scored in double figures. Swiss-Croatian forward Toni Rocak (206-1999, college: USF) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and guard Mateo Vidovic (193-1999, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively for Dubrava in the defeat. Dubrava's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ilirija will meet at home Kolin in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dubrava will play against Olomoucko and hopes to get finally their first victory.
