The game between third rankedEtha (4-2) and 5th ranked Moufflons (1-6) in Nicosia on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Etha outscored guests from 84-49 . The game without a history. Etha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Moufflons ' 16. Etha forced 25 Moufflons turnovers and outrebounded them 48-29 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Etha looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Moufflons ' players. It was a quality performance for American forward Paris Mullins (188-2001, college: Norfolk St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. The former international point guard Ioanna Kyprianou (168-2003) accounted for 24 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals for the winning side. Etha's coach Skevi Georgiou felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Katerina Michael came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Milica Maricic (176-2006) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Moufflons in the defeat. Newly promoted Etha maintains third place with 4-2 record having four points less than leader Anagennises. Moufflons lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with six games lost.
