Regular Season Round 7: Etha - Achilleas K. 86-45

Etha can celebrate finally their first win this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Achilleas (0-6) 86-45 . The game was mostly controlled by Etha. Achilleas was better in second period 22-18 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Etha dominated on the defensive end, holding Achilleas K. to just 7 points in first and fourth quarters. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Aaron Deloney (183-2001, college: Vermont) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 7 assists. Forward Vatangoe Donzo (202-2000, college: BMCU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Etha players scored in double figures. Guard Tionne Rollins (185, college: FMU) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and forward Marcanvis Hymon (203-1995, college: Ole Miss) added 7 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Achilleas. Achilleas K.'s coach Evripides Andreou gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Etha (1-5) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. It was Achilleas ' sixth loss in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost.
